Dmytro Samarsky
Chairperson, legal representative
Dmytro was a multiplier of the YOUTH programme in Ukraine from 2004 to 2007, which gives him a deep understanding of youth work systems in the EU and the skills to build partnerships with like-minded organisations across Europe. He is the main organiser of many local and international youth projects run by NGO «People», knows how to prepare youth groups for international activities, and maintains strong relations with local authorities and media.
Natalia Savenko
Project coordinator, contact person
Natalia is an experienced youth group leader. She organises the selection of participants relevant to each project, with special attention to young people with fewer opportunities, and leads dissemination activities after international projects — presentations in schools, seminars and meetings of the local English-speaking clubs.
Governance
The organisation operates on the principles of voluntariness, self-government, equality before the law, absence of property interest of its members, transparency, openness and publicity.
General Meeting
The highest governing body. Valid when more than 50% of members attend; decisions are taken by simple majority, and key statutory decisions by at least 3/4 of votes.
The Board
Manages the organisation between General Meetings, decides on admission and expulsion of members and disposes of property. Board members serve on a public (unpaid) basis.
Audit Commission
Monitors compliance with the Statute, reviews annual reports and balance sheets and considers complaints. Board members cannot be members of the Audit Commission.
